Actions that should be carried out after firmware upgrade to synchronize the substrate list and import and export the ICC profiles.
Caldera
- Export your custom ICCs and save them in a folder in your computer.
- Select the Easy Media option.
- Synchronize the printer substrates using the FULL RESET option.
- Check that all substrates have been synchronized.
- Select Easy Media again, and import your previously saved custom ICCs.
Onyx
- Export your custom ICCs and save them in a folder in your computer.
- Select the Media Manager option.
- Delete all substrates except one. IMPORTANT: If you delete all substrates, the RIP will crash and you will have to install the driver.
- Select the Configure Printer option, click Features, and synchronize all substrates.
- Click Media Manager and import your previously saved custom ICCs.
You are also required to advise the customer to update the RIP driver to obtain the latest improvements and bug fixes.
