HP 833 and HP 838 Latex Maintenance Cartridge

This article provides guidance for customers on the new HP Latex Maintenance Cartridges.

• The new HP 833 Latex Maintenance Cartridge (9T062A) replaces the existing HP Latex Maintenance Cartridge (4UV99A), which is compatible with the HP Latex 630 printer series. This functionality applies to firmware versions starting from sunspot_release_6.27.1.10-202503220141, dated March 27^th, 2025.
• The new HP 838 Latex Maintenance Cartridge (9T063A) replaces the existing HP Latex Maintenance Cartridge (4UU96A) and is compatible with the HP Latex 700 and 800 printer series. This functionality applies to firmware versions starting from PLS_60_25_21.1, dated June 10^th, 2025.

To complement the functionality of the new HP Latex Maintenance Cartridge, use the HP 833/838 Latex Ink Collection Unit [2-unit pack] (9T064A), a user-replaceable consumable, to extend the life of the maintenance cartridge.
