Banding in one colour on rainbow gradient

Hello, I have a problem with a rainbow gradient and text. The purples and greens are printing beautifully, but when it heads into the blues, it gets these horrible bands coming off the letters. (Please see photos attached of the good and bad sections) This print was done at 600dpi, using the generic backlit profile - 12 pass - 150cc ink. Is this a problem with the cyan/light cyan head? All heads appear to have no issues when a test print is done. Thanks in advance

Hi Jaime, I will recommend you to the following: Use your RIP to add lateral color bars on both side. The color bars are designed to exercise all the printhead nozzles. At the front panel, press the gear icon , then Image-quality maintenance > Color variation and text-line correction > On. Rotate the image if possible 90º Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply. I have tried your suggestions, but unfortunately they have not changed the problem. The same type of banding problem seems to happeing with anything I print with cyan in it. I have attached a photo of another job printed today which is showing the same issue. I have replaced the cyan head and it has not improved at all. What else can I try?

HP Latex 300 Printer User Guide if the user guide's recommendations will not solve your banding eaither, I'll recommend you to contact your support source in order to figure out the root of the issue.
