Bidir/Unidir Printing and Carriage Speed: Latex 360

HP Latex 360 Printer

#1 TG-Frank 9 years ago

Where can I find settings to optimize print quality with changing bidirectional to unidirectional printing or reduce carriage speed on a Latex 360? With the 260/280, this was possible and have helped to improve quality for little text and labels.

Hello TG-Frank and welcome to the HP Latex forum,

In the new HP Latex 360 printer, like the rest of the HP Latex 300 series, it is not possible to change from bidirectional printing to unidirectional printing, the HP Latex 360, always prints in bidirectional print mode.

The default carriage speed is 60 inches per second, but if you would like to improve the image quality, the printer has two printmodes which reduce the carriage speed to 40 inches per second, these are the 16 and 20 pass print modes.

I hope this answers your enquiry.
