Bleeding and banding problem?

HP Latex 260 Printer

#1 whitelake 7 years ago

Hi,

I have problems when I print and I can not figure out how to get right to the problem.
I've tried to run cleaing, changed foil and so on..

I get som small tails, (bleeding?), especially after the black but also for magenta, and cyan. It has become something that looks like strapping, but that I thought disappeared when I switched foil.

Add pictures so you can see better.

Hello whitelake,

From the pictures I see I can only recommend you to change the printheads and the Maintenance cartridge then check if the issue disappears. If not, you should contact your support source in order to check your printer.

Drop me a line if I can do anything else for you.

I will try that.

I managed to get rid of the problem when I did unclick bidirectional printing. But its a slow way forward. Does it convince even more that the problem is with the printheads?

Hello whitelake

I would suggest, to run an advance calibration, PrintHead alignment, or PrintHead status alignment plot. If after running these tests you still see a quality problem in your printing, you should probably change the PrintHeads (if you have not done so far already). If the issue carries on with all types of jobs, please ask your support services to have the machine checked.

Please keep me informed!
