Do I have to pay for a new head or will it be replaced under warranty?

#1 kholyanov10019 2 years ago

My HP 700 W latex printer is under warranty - bought less than six months ago. The print head has broken (long before the guaranteed amount of ink passed through it). Question - do I have to pay for a new head or will it be replaced under warranty?

Hi @kholyanov10019,

If you check the HP Latex 700 Printer Series/ HP Latex 800 Printer Series Limited Warranty document, you can see the warranty period for each type of printhead (screenshot attached).

HP covers only those defects that arise as a result of the normal use of the HP products, so if the printhead is under warranty and has been damaged during normal use of the printer, it should be replaced under warranty.
