How to disable bi-directional communication

HP Latex 360 Printer

#1 David_Richard 9 years ago

Hi everyone, does anyone know how to disable the bi-directional communication between the L360 and the ONYX rip to prevent the slowdowns when you're playing with profiles ? Can we do this or is it locked ?

Thanks !

Hi David_Richard,

Sorry for the delay, But I had to do some verifications, since I'm not a RIP Expert.

What I've found, is that for the HP Latex 360 Printer, the bidirectional communication between the printer and the RIP is necessary, specially when using the "Media Manager" in order to keep the printer and the RIP synchronized.

Even though, the user have the option to disable this communication here:

Configure Printer --> Device Features --> Global Printer Options

i hope this helps.
