hp 260 ink funnel

Hi, getting ink funnel-ink drop detection problem. tried to replace the ink funnel however the Blue peice that you slide toward you to help release the ink funnel is stuck and does not slide. I have tried pouring some alcohol around it to try and loosen it but still no luck. any suggestions?
