HP Latex 360 - RIP Software

I am new to wide format printers and latex printers. I am attempting to setup my Latex 360 printer so I can send print jobs to it.

My question is how do I connect my computer to the printer itself so I can send print jobs to it? Do I have to have some kind of RIP software?

You can find the user guide on the HP site: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-latex-360-printers/6838371/manuals. The connectivity information is under the introductory chapter.

You do need RIP software to send jobs to the printer: CALDERA/ ONYX or SAI.
