L370 freezes during the drying cycle

HP Latex 370 Printer

#1 Tony-C 8 years ago

After the image has printed and it starts the drying cycle, intermittently the printer freezes up. The display just keeps cycling but a reboot is the only option. Firmware is up to date. Any ideas?

Hi Tony-C

This are my recommendations:

  • Make sure that the RIP driver is also up to date
  • As the issue is happening at the end of the job and from time to time it might be related to the “accounting” as this information is updated after finishing a certain number of jobs. Go to the Embedded Web Server (just enter your printer’s IP at the browser) to modify the settings and try to set the following ones to “5”:
    • EWS -> Setup tab -> Accounting, Max. number of logged jobs: “5”
    • EWS -> Setup tab -> Send accounting files every: “5” prints

Please let me know if this help you.
