Hello, could you advise me why this is happening to me on glossy foil?

#1 Hey, That usually happens if the heat or vacuum settings aren’t quite right for glossy materials. Try lowering the curing temp a bit and adjusting the vacuum glossy media can be super sensitive. Also make sure you’re using the correct ICC profile for that specific foil. Hope that helps!

#1 said Hello, could you advise me why this is happening to me on glossy foil? Reply This usually happens with glossy foil because the ink/toner just doesn’t want to stick to that slick surface. If the foil isn’t made for your printer or laminator, or there’s not enough heat/pressure, you’ll get patchy areas, smudging, or peeling. Oils from fingers and even a bit of moisture can make it worse too. Using foil that’s specifically rated for your process and making sure it’s clean and fully cured first usually fixes it.
