Oily Chemical Drops

Hello HP Community, Recently we had really long runs on our L360 and at the end of the day we set up a run that went through a good portion of the evening unattended. Before we started the new roll, I noticed drops of a clear and oily chemical were forming at the top of the curing unit. We cleaned it off with a cotton pad. The next morning we noticed that one of the large panels we printed had a drop on it that ruined the print. Any thoughts? Attrached are the pictures I took of the damaged print. -Jonas

Hi Jonas! As I can tell from the pictures you have sent, I recommend to follow these tips: Be sure that the site is at the “best print quality” environmental conditions (Page 169 on the Latex 310 User Guide). Confirm that the air-conditioning system is not blowing cold air directly to the printer, this will increase the possibilities of having “cold” areas in the printer, so generates this kind of oil/substance. 3. Use a print-mode that uses less ink per second: - Keep speed reducing the ink quantity - Reduce speed keeping the ink quantity I hope this answer helps
