PET Banner

#1 CDM Christian a year ago

Hello all I am hoping to gain some experience based responses regarding running PET banner material on a HP Latex 115, or 300 series. I am aware of various profiles available for these types of films, but am hoping to hear from those of you actually running these types of films on your printers.

#1 We're running Ultraflex 13oz SuperSmooth PET Greyback and Qualitexx Blockout-CX Layflat Grayback on our 570s for banner stands.

It runs ok if you mess around enough setting it up. We run it at 14 passes with a half second interpass delay (something like that, I don't have the settings in front of me). The heat is really low to keep the material from getting wavy and the ink is just barely cured.

Honestly, I'd prefer to run HP Everyday Matte Polypropylene for our bannerstands, but the cost is way higher.
