Print Smudge issue

#1 info@copiesplus 3 years ago

Hi Friends

I have a latex 335 printer installed recently. Trying to print on Dtec matt board 200 gsm light paper card. At first, the paper looks much heavier than what it's been called by the supplier.

Anyways, the media not in option of substrate we use from the HP list, I am using under generic coated photo paper and while doing a print it smudges big time.

I have attached a photo of my print.

Anyone can help?

Hi @info@copiesplus,

From the picture attached it is difficult to tell if the smears are related to the curing or the carriage. Please follow the following recommendations in order to help print the media properly.

Curing Smears

  • Attach the Tur
  • Decrease curing temperature
  • Add Interswat delay
  • Decrease Ink density
  • Increase passes

Related carriage smears

  • Attach the Tur
  • Increase the Vacuum
  • Decrease curing temperature
  • Add Interswath delay
  • Decrease ink density
  • Increase passes

I hope this helps.
