PrintOS error

#1 JayC a year ago

Hi,

I have a latex 315 and the it worked well with the HP mobile app, until the firmware update to version: nexus _07_10_00.1.

Since then the mobile app couldn't retrieve information from the printer, showing an error: "Supply error - date or time mismatch".

I tried manually adjusting the date and time on the printer but it didn't fix the issue.

Really appreciate it if anyone can help.

Best, -JayC

Hi @drew10880,

Please check that the timezone in PrintOS is correctly set, as well as for the printer. I am attaching a couple of documents that should be helpful. Let me know if that solves it.

#4 Thanks Daniela. I followed the instruction but so far the time mismatch error is still there.

One thing I noticed that on PrintOS website, America/New York is GMT - 4. However on the printer, it's GMT - 5. It appears the issue of daylight saving time. Not sure if this is causing the error.

Hi @JayC,

Use this document instead, as we added extra details regarding daylight saving time.

#7 Hi @HP Daniela Ciolompea,

Thanks again for the instruction. I actually have been doing the exact things. However it didn't fix the issue.

I have both my printOS and printer time zone set as "America/New York". On printOS web portal, which is reflecting daylight saving time, the America/New York is GMT - 4. But on the printer, America/New York is GMT - 5. Apparently the printer is not aware of daylight saving time.

I have the screenshots attached.

I also tried to set both time zones to GMT-5 but then on printOS it can't be America/New York. Doing this didn't fix the issue either.

Hi @JayC,

The available alternatives I can think of are:

  1. Update the time manually as indicated in the previous pdf

  2. Try to select a different time that might not generate a difference

  3. Contact your support representative or HP for troubleshooting

I am sorry I can't be of further assistance.
