On which model? There are a few internal maintenance parts that it includes. I had to have this done on the L25500 I had. I just paid to have the HP tech come do it and the total for parts and labor was like $450. You can just call up tech support and have them set it up to do. I did find a HP site where I could actually order the parts, they were like $250 I think, but I didn't want to chance messing anything up.

When you say "HP refuses to sign paperwork" do you refer to an specific part of the contract? Are you contacting HP directly or your are doing this through a reseller? In this case which reseller? New firmware was just installed by an HP tech, and now I'm getting the message on the front panel that the printer needs "Maintenance #3." I can't find this in the user manual or online. Please advise. This printer is quickly becoming less and less user-friendly as it ages. Solved! Go to Solution.
