Substrate Mispositioned

#1 emma.lesuer6936 5 years ago

Hello, I have a latex 570 printer that has been telling that the substrate is mispositioned after I print a job. It will not let me cut it with the cutter, and I have to go into settings- substrate - reseat substrate to be able to get it to go back to the green light and cut it. We had a tech come out and replace the line sensor yesterday. I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what they did to fix it?

Hey, I had the same issue with my Latex printer a while back. It sounds like it could be a calibration problem or the substrate alignment sensor might still be a little off, even after the new sensor was installed. Have you tried recalibrating the media sensors or checking the media positioning in the settings? Sometimes just re-aligning the rollers or making sure the media isn’t slipping can help too. You might want to check if the printer’s firmware needs an update as well. Hope that helps!
