Warranty on printheads

HP Latex 300 Series

#1 stampa5107 5 years ago

Hi, on 13th august i noticed that i had 3 damaged print heads. I immediately sent an email to the local dealer, as the warranty on the printhead was expiring on 23 august.

Now, in italy, in august everyone is in holiday, and I got a response TODAY, sorry, but NOW the printheads are with expired warranty, so they can't be exchanged.

It is normal that, if i ask a replacement in warranty BEFORE expiration, but if the dealer waits 3 weeks, until it is expired, then I have to spend 400 euro of my own money for a problem that's not my fault?

If Print head consumption is under 1 liter and the Print head is under warranty, this should be replaced. If you have sent an email to the local dealer and Service plot showing the ink consumption under 1 Liter before expiration date, please, contact your reseller or support service , again.

From the technical point of view we cannot recommend any other thing than reinsert old Print heads and perform Print heads cleaning several times (4 or 5 times) in order to recover them.

I hope this information helps
