HP Latex 335 printhead issue: what's the cause?

#1 constanteen17458 5 months ago

After turning on the printer and starting to print, it gives an error regarding the 6th head, C-Y, with error code *0x100008. It produces artifacts in the print, as shown in the photo.

Swapping or replacing the heads doesn't resolve the error, whether it's a new head or a used one. After turning off and letting it sit for 30 minutes or longer, simply replacing or swapping the heads clears the error. The printer can then print for an hour to 3-5 hours, and then the same issue occurs again.

Sometimes it can print continuously for around 4-5 hours, while other times it may encounter the error within half an hour. The error is only resolved by replacing or swapping the head after turning off and waiting. Occasionally, simply turning the printer off and on may rarely resolve the problem.

Hello, I think the error you are experiencing with your printer, specifically related to the 6th head (C-Y) and error code *0x100008, indicates a persistent issue that is not resolved by swapping or replacing the heads minecraftle game. This error results in artifacts appearing in the prints, as shown in the provided photo. Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware version installed. Check the manufacturer's website for any available updates or patches that address known issues or compatibility problems.

Looks Like the trailing cable that takes the print info from the PCA to the print heads is shorting out. I have seen this and common too on machines depending on the environment and use. the oxidation caused by printer and environment and frequency and age of printer can cause the insulation on this cable to deteriorate and short corrupting the data being sent to print. May short in 5 minutes or may not short for 5 hours but at the least service needs to be done replacing that cable at the minimum.
