printed graphic fit

#1 dhomuth53095 2 weeks ago

Printing an image approximately 30" x 22" on two sheets using R1000 and have identifed that the fit of the graphics is not good. The image appears to be 'shrunk' in by 30 to 40 thousandths of an inch from front to back and slightly stretched at one of the back corners.

We are attempting to screen print a selective pass after the digital press and with the image not to size, the screened graphic will not 'fit' around all necessary features. We are going to be doing a multi-sheet print and take measurements to see how consistent the issue is. One idea is to purposely scale the digital image based on the measurement results.

I am at a loss on diagnostics to run or access to determine if there might be a substrate advance issue (cannot find the location of the advance substrate calibration diagnostic referenced in the R1000 user manual.

Any ideas? Thank you for your time.
