HP Latex automatic maintenance

Hi, do the HP Latex 115 automatic maintenance (turn on, clean and turn of)?. I know this procedure from my Roland printer, but never seen it on the HP Latex 115. It doesn't matter of the printer is in standby or turned off (NOT the hard one). Thank you!

Hey! Yeah, the HP Latex 115 does auto maintenance, but only when it’s in standby (not fully powered off). It won’t do any cleaning if it’s shut down completely with the hard switch. Just leave it in standby and it’ll handle the cleaning cycles on its own.

Yeah, the HP Latex 115 doesn’t do the same kind of automatic maintenance like Roland printers do. It runs basic self-checks and light cleaning when it’s in standby, but it won’t power itself on, clean, and then turn off automatically. If you’re not using it for a while, it’s best to leave it in standby mode — that way, it can do small clean cycles to keep the printheads in good shape.
