Ink Density Calibration

I'm trying to print multiple banners on my HP 360 Latex Printer. I had to change one of the ink cartridges and now my printer keeps telling me to perform an "ink density calibration" before I print. What is an ink density calibration and how would I do that?

My apologies. Not an ink density recalibration. But a "Density Recalibration". Same question

Hi InsightKC, From time to time, specially after changing inks, printheads or media, is recommendable to perform this kind of test in order to make sure that the printer keeps printing the same colors as it always did. This kind of tests are necessary to ensure an optimal color consistency. you can run this tests following the steps below: Option 1: Substrate Library -> Select media Settings -> Image-Quality maintenance -> Color Calibration -> Calibrate Option 2: Substrate Library -> Select media Substrate Library -> Modify -> Edit Printmode -> Continue -> Start Color Calibration Hope this was the information you were looking for.

Hello, Thank you for your response. I just performed the color calibration as you instructed. However, the same message popped up and asked me for a "density recalibration." I'm assuming the color calibration is not the same thing otherwise the message would not have shown up. Do you know to what the printer is reffering when it says "density recalibration"?

Hi again, Sorry for the misunderstanding. I have in mind another possible issue. When generating a new media preset the printer needs to do 3 calibrations: 1- Ink density 2- Color Calibration 3- ICC maybe you somehow interrupted the process. Can you please try to create a new media preset and check if after the whole process the message keeps appearing? If it does, would you please send me an screenshot of your front panel with the message.
