Hi Susanne, I hope you are doing good. Do you get the same message with a different substrate? Is the printer able to measure the roll width automatically? There may be an issue with a sensor in the carriage. If the printer continues with this behavior please contact your dealer in order to get proper and personalized help for this kind of issue. Thank you in advance for the infromation.
After replacing the printhead and attempting to do a printhead alignment we get a message, not an error, that says "Calibration cancelled due to substrate type/LED problem." On the top of the screen it then says "Printhead alignment has not been done" We have done this many times with success, we generaly use a 54" roll of Oracal vinyl for our alignments, not sure what the problem could be... Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
