No internet connection

Hello, Last week, I switched internet providers, and I'm now facing an issue where my new modem/network doesn't recognize my HP Latex 700w printer. As a result, print jobs are not being sent to the printer. I contacted my supplier, and they informed me that a network connection is a must and the printer can not work when there is no network connection. I was hoping to ask if there is a way to control the printer using my PrintFactory software without the printer being recognized on the network. Is this possible, perhaps via a direct connection? Behind the network cable is see a usb port, can this be used? Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

#1 That printer pretty much needs to be on the network, the USB port is for service, not printing. Easiest fix is to give it a static IP on your new modem/router so PrintFactory can see it again.
