StraightnessOptimizationPlot.pdf missing HP Latex 700W

#1 Thomas_Skyltbolaget 9 months ago

In the full manual for the HP Latex 700 & 800 series on page 134 there is a reference to a "StraightnessOptimizationPlot.pdf". I have a noticed that I have a very slight bow in prints (either that or all my rulers are bad) and thought that this might be the solution.

However when I try accessing "http://IPaddress/hp/device/webAccess/diagnostic/StraightnessOptimizationPlot.pdf" (where IPaddress obviously is replaced with my printers local IP address), I seem to access a corrupt/blank PDF page within my browser? My browser changes to PDF mode (were I can zoom and select between pages 0 and 0) but a blank page is shown. Is this a bug?

I recently updated to FIRMWARE VERSION PLS_42_23_24.1

Hi @Thomas_Skyltbolaget,

This option is not available for the 700 and 800 printers and will be removed from the manual, as it applies only to other printer models.

As a workaround, you could try to compensate the Bow (width) from the Rip.

See attached the process for Onyx, Caldera, and SAi.
