Unable to Update Firmware

HP Latex 360 Printer

Have tried onboard auto firmware update Web Interface and from USB Stick All methods fail to load the current firmware. Errors range from corrupted firmware to hard drive full. Not sure what next steps would be. Thanks

Hello @wbatson6871 I suggest you delete some media profiles, previously saved in your pc, and try again the Firmware installation, it will release some space in the solid-state disk. Be sure you are using an official Firmware version (the current one which is already installed). If nothing above helps, please contact HP support.

#2 Hi Sonia, I deleted all unused media profiles from the machine itself. Do I also need to delete them from the RIP? Thanks

#3 format the usb stick ntfs format, not fat32, check integrity of the data for errors on pc (scandisk or something - if there are bad sectors - printer reads wrong file integrity and skips further installation), copy firmware file only. Turn off printer, insert usb stick and turn on printer and if everything is OK, update is successful. Remove LAN cable just to be sure usb is first to be used...if any errors with SSD, nothing you can do, disk must be replaced...

Hello @wbatson6871 There is no need to delete data from RIP. Firmware link : https://support.hp.com/py-es/drivers/selfservice/hp-latex-360-printers/6838371 This is the current's name firmware NEXUS_01_16_00.8.fmw Make sure to do not change words or characters when you are going to install it. If the problem persists, I suggest contacting HP Support.
