White Box/White Line within Solid Colour Background

Hi guys, I have issue when printing design with white box or white horizontal line within a solid colour background. Apparrently a visible line appears alongside the top edge and bottom edge of the white box. Same phenomenon occurred when printing a white horizontal line.

We are running L360 with Colourgate Productionserver 9.

This type of case arises in certain images and color combinations / printmode. I recommend to rotate the image 90º to avoid these marks. If rotating 90º the image the problem persists you can try to rotate the image 0.5 - 1º. You can also activate the spit on page to see if it helps.

Hi Sonia, thanks for the prompt reply. I wil try the rotation method and can you advise how do I go about turning on the "spit-on-page"?

See if this works: Activate Spit-on-page = Image-quality maintenance > Color variation and text-line correction > On.
