D-Line Ultra Clear printing problem

#1 Jeroen E. 2 years ago

When printing this foil, I have regular crashes because the foil rises in the printing zone. I tried adjusting the tension and the vacuum but I still need to keep an eye on it. Does anyone have experience with this vinyl?

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with the print quality of the vinyl. Here are some suggestions to help improve the print quality and prevent the foil from rising: Nexus Iceland Check the print bed level: Make sure that the print bed is properly leveled. If the bed is not level, it can cause uneven printing and result in the foil rising.

Adjust the print settings: Adjust the print settings to reduce the speed of the printer. This will allow the vinyl to adhere to the bed properly.

Use a stronger adhesive: Consider using a stronger adhesive for the vinyl to prevent it from lifting during the printing process. You can also try using a different brand of vinyl with a stronger adhesive.

Increase the bed temperature: Increasing the bed temperature can help improve the adhesion of the vinyl to the bed. However, be careful not to exceed the recommended temperature for the vinyl.

Use a brim: Adding a brim to your print can help improve the adhesion of the vinyl to the bed. A brim is a thin layer of material that is printed around the outside of the object being printed.

Use a raft: A raft is another option to improve the adhesion of the vinyl to the bed. A raft is a thin layer of material that is printed under the object being printed.

I hope these suggestions help improve your print quality and prevent the foil from rising during printing.
