Hp Latex 365 dragging ink?

#1 amy.bettison 2 years ago

I've tried everything in my knowledge trying to get this issue solved. The inks, print heads and maintenance cartridge are all up to date. I have the correct information in for stock. It only happens on my 225gsm Satin Poster paper

Hi @amy.bettison,

It seems that the PHs are touching the media. It could be that the OMS used values that are not appropriate for this substrate. On the other hand, we couldn't find this media under this name in the media locator, so it might not be certified by HP. I recommend using certified media with the proper OMS. I hope it helps.

Check your media vacuum values in their profile. They may need to go up very slightly. Make sure your media has some weight to keep it draped and taught across the print zone. Check your platen holes are not covered in any ink which may also result in less vacuum holding down the media.
