I'm experiencing issues with my HP 315 print and cut solution when using software other than Flexi

I'm experiencing issues with my HP 315 print and cut solution when using software other than Flexi. While cutting works perfectly with Flexi, both Onyx and VinylMaster show the same problem: after reading the right marks and first left mark, the cutter moves too far left beyond the substrate instead of reading down the line. Since Flexi was bundled with the machine, I wonder if the cutter is programmed to only work properly with it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Reply Sounds like a registration mark compatibility issue. Flexi probably uses a specific mark format the cutter is tuned for. Check if Onyx or VinylMaster let you adjust the mark type/layout to match Flexi’s. Also make sure firmware and drivers are up to date.
