Re: HP WallArt

Hello,

Is it possible to use a different cutter? We use the Zünd to cut out paper and fabric.

At this moment I can only find a Fotolia..??

Or is it possible to make my own cutting marks??

Have a nice day.

Marco

Thats a really good question, we are planning on buying a zund g3, and if we are able to cut our wallpapers with that cutter would be really fast and accurate.

Hi Marco,

I think you have things confused. Fotolia is a stock image and video site. Are you perhaps thinking about Fotaba, the cutters? As for cutting with a Zund - your RIP or cutting management software should be able to add the markers needed even if the file is locked. I do also have an issue with HP not providing open PDFs, making it difficult to add our our cut-path post-sale, but the work-around is to get the files prepped and keyd and then uploaded through the websuite.

Maybe if enough people complain about the locked PDFs HP will change it?

I just got back from a group trip to Italy. I would like to set up a template for a set size canvas print and send an invitation to the group allowing them to uploat their favorite photo(s). Can this be done?

Hi Dave75,

With HP WallArt Suite you can do what you are willig to. In order to do so, when you order a project by clicking on its order number you can select the option that appears at the button of the next pop up window “convert to template”. Once the template has been created you should be able to find it through your templates tab.

Click on “” and then “Settings” and there it appears the URL to create a new project from the corresponding template, share that link with your group and they should be able to upload their own photos using your canvas size.

Please remind that you shouldn´t have selected the option “hide image upload” in your Settings > Canvas > Customization > Hide image upload in order to allow your group to upload their own images.

Hope this helps.

Regarding cut marks and Zünd machines matter my best suggestion would be to contact directly with our HP WallArt Support Team through the following email address: hpwallart.support@hp.com. Sure they will provide you all information you need about this issue since I've always worked with Fotoba.

How can I get the Full Web Integration to work on my e-commerce site?

Hello Emteey

Everything indicates that right now you are using a version of a RIP product from Onyx that does not have latest Maintenance patches applied or a version compatible with HP WallArt.

Inside Onyx site there’s a section at Support > Drivers and profiles > Products Updates with a list of several Maintenance patches to upgrade your Onyx RIP. One of these (Maintenance Patch 4 for ONYX 11.1.2) includes some news for latest versions of HP WallArt.

Requirements for your RIP software are:

  • Have at least 11.1.2 version
  • Download and Apply Maintenance Patch 4

http://www.onyxgfx.com/my-onyx/product-updates/

By following these steps you should be able to fix your rasterizing error.

If you find this information useful, please accept the post as a Solution, henece, other users can track it esealy. Further clarifycation, please keep me informed.

Hi Sonia,

Thanks for your feedback.

I have the 11.1.2.103 version installed as well as all the relevant patches.

I still have the same issue. If I put the artwork through the RIP without sending it through HP WallArt there is no problem.

Where to from here?

Hello Emteey,

Regarding Onyx workflow for HP WallArt PDFs I would like to provide you a few steps and points to follow them according WallArt PDF’s. Please find below a list with a few considerations before you start printing WallArt’s PDF and Onyx.

Make sure that you click on Open HP WallArt button to add PDF files. Right away a new window will pop-up asking you to your WallArt Credentials to display the next window.

To print WallArt’s PDFs you have to click at Open HP WallArt.

  1. Once you’ve clicked on Open HP WallArt a window will appear asking for credentials. In order to Open locally your PDFs just fill the URL filed with at least one character.

  2. Click on Open Local PDF and select your WallArt PDF.

  3. The RIP process will start immediately. If even with these steps you are still not able to print WallArt files with your Onyx RIP please contact our support team at hpwallart.support@hp.com and sure they will be glad to help you to resolve your issue.

Hello,

I have one problem with my wallart. I'm trying to install the last version 2.0.1 with AppStore. It shows me that's installed but on my tablet.
Is there any chance to have the last version on my Mac Book Pro?

I attached a picture with the version I have. I can't edit the colors of the pattern. I am able just to scale, add objects and color the walls.

Thank you, Alina!

Hello Alina

I would like to inform you that unfortunately HP WallArt app is only available for iPad and android tablets. In order to access to your HP WallArt account through a PC, like your Macbook Pro, this should be done through the HP WallArt website, https://www.hpwallart.com.

HP WallArt is a web service accessible from any browser and there’s no need to download any software to use it, except from the Android/iPad mobile native application, but this is intended for end-users, not account/business owners.

Regarding to edit the backgrounds that you choose for your designs unfortunately it is not available the option to change the colour of them. The images are provided as they are, however end-users have the option to upload their own images in order to fit better with their needs.

Hope this information helps

I have always used the program quietly. But now he has made two mistakes and the others do not finish processing to release the pdfs. I do not know what to do, because I have to deliver this work early tomorrow.

Try copy/duplicating the job. Sometimes I find if it sticks at processing, this solves it. Hope it helps
Thanks

@rodbuza

As a temporary measure by reprocessing the job itself you should be able to recreate the job itself. This can be easily done by clicking at the job itself and then click on Settings > Update Reprocess. On the other hand we are investigating these particular jobs in order to double check that there isn’t anything extraordinary on these.

Please keep me post it about it
