Hi

I'm trying to set up WallArt in Onyx production.

If I order a RollUp system, I do get orderdetails by email, but the order is not showing up in Onyx. This ONLY applies to the rollup app - Canvas, Poster and wallpaper seems to be fine. Why ???

I would like to gather some information in order to provide you an appropriate resolution to your case. The problem that you are experiencing is directly related on jobs provided by the JDF? If you download a PDF and you add it manually you are still not able to print Signage PDF’s?

Yes - all files will print if downloaded first.

The problem can be seen on this screenshot where only 3 out of 5 orders are visible from Onyx:

Any body have url problems. I setup customer gave him our old url to acess HP wall art and they cant login.

Also does anyone have a .pdf on how to create a customer login. I might have something screwed up.

I haven’t found any problem by login or using a customer account inside HP Applications Center. Moreover, my best recommendation in order to fix the issue described would be to double check that:

  • The URL to access to your customer account has the following structure.

https://hpwallart.com/accounts/main.URL\_identifier/customer.URL\_identifier

Make sure that you fill up the URL with correct data on main.URL_identifier and customer.URL_identifier

These can be found at Settings > Workflow integration and Customers > Account settings respectively.

You can also find this URL inside by clicking at the button above, inside a Customer account.

Make sure that Customer credentials were written correctly. There’s a common mistake where Customers logins by using its Contact email instead of its main address.

The behavior described usually points to some communication problems by a RIP installation these could be caused by a proxy, firewall, Anti Virus… If by following these you are still not able fix this our best suggestion would be to contact directly to your RIP Support department.

hi just downloaded hp wallart,

just have a question regarding canvas section, how can i integrate 2 - 3 different images on multi canvas? i've notice i can't seem to add an image on my design.

Hello @by3experience

Unfortunately multicanvas feature doesn´t allow to add more than one image for each multicanvas design, this feature lie in dividing the image into as many columns and rows as previously selected.

However you can add as many objects as you want, by this way it would be possible to have different images in each of the frames.

Thank you @HP-Sonia, but it doesn't make sense to me that some links, from the same site, works like supposed and other doesn't.

However...
All links are copied from Settings > Webintegration > External links section and by looking closely I notice a minor difference in the URL's:

Canvas
https://designer.hpwallart.com/vesterkopi?external\_link=true&sku=WA\_CA
This one is fine (Using https and designer.wallart.com)

Rollup
http://designer.wraps.hpwallart.com/vesterkopi?external\_link=true&gsku=RLUP
This is 'broken' and differs by using http (not -s) and points to designer.wraps.hpwallart.com (extra site wraps)

My recommendation on you case would be to double check that your internet browser is up to date. Graphic environment for Signage differs from WallArt. However if you are still having issues by browsing Signage Designer please contact directly to our support team at hpapplicationscenter.support@hp.com with an screenshot of the entire windows with the error message displayed in it to perform a deeper investigation.

Any changes performed on your HP Applications Center account will be applied instantaneously even if this affects your Designer or your administration environment.

I have some issue with the wallArt'app, I made a test to see what will happen when customers will use this app, and when I reveided the pdf and I tried to open it in adobe, adobe asked me a password... how to end this option please? (sorry for my english)

Since our latest version of HP WallArt was released our PDFs generated by HP WallArt Suite requires a certified RIP to print our files and assure our users that they will be able to print their PDFs without any issue. However this does not mean that some RIP versions might work even if they do not figure inside our certified RIP list. For those cases our best recommendation would be to contact your RIP Support Team in order to know if your version supports HP WallArt Suite PDFs.

Current certified RIPs for HP WallArt Suite on in the image below:

In relation to modify PDFs I would like to say that if you have to modify a WallArt PDF this should be done by editing it by using a certified RIP. I would like to clarify that one of WallArt´s goals is to provide a pre-processed PDF that doesn´t require additional modifications/actions before be printed.

On the other hand, in order to have a better understanding about your request to modify WallArt PDFs my best suggestion would be to contact directly our HP Application Center support team at “hpapplicationscenter.support@hp.com”. HP WallArt is working constantly to ensure the compatibility and close integration of third-party RIP solutions with our products and your request might guide us to provide an alternative resolution on this.

Hi there,

I'm trying to configure WallArt with our Onyx PosterShop 11.1.2 RIP, but I'm stuck with a problem.

Every time I try to print a file with the WallArt/Onyx integration, I get a message from Onyx saying there was a problem with the image sweep, and to check my options......

Can you tell me how to solve this problem?!

In order to print HP WallArt PDFs with your current version of Onyx RIP, 11.1.2, you need to install two maintenance patches that you can find in Onyx website through the following URL: http://www.onyxgfx.com/my-onyx/product-updates/

Once in Onyx website > Product Updates section please download and install in this order Maintenance Patch 1 for ONYX 11.1.2 – RIP Products and then Maintenance Patch 4 for ONYX 11.1.2 – RIP Products.

  • Maintenance Patch 1 for ONYX 11.1.2 – RIP Products
  • Maintenance Patch 4 for ONYX 11.1.2 – RIP Products
