Red banding on Green print

#1 v.leonard517 11 months ago

I'm running a Latex Series R1000. I'm having red banding showing up when I print a certain green color. The banding is going in the direction that the carriage is moving. All my maintenences are done, machine is clean, substrate has been color calibrated and all printheads are aligned. Image attached is an example I just printed.

Hi @v.leonard517,

Looking at the image, this defect can be caused because the Y/M printhead having a lot of consumption.

If it has consumed a high amount of liters it should be replaced.

Red banding appearing when printing a specific green color can be frustrating, but there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to address the issue.

Firstly, ensure that the firmware of your printer is up to date. Manufacturers often release updates to address known issues and improve print quality. Check the manufacturer's website or contact their support for the latest firmware version and installation instructions.

Next, verify that the print heads are in good condition and not clogged or damaged. Run a print head cleaning cycle to clear any potential blockages. If the issue persists, you might consider replacing the print heads if they are nearing the end of their lifespan.
