HP Latex 800W and Perforated Window Film

#1 patrick13793 10 months ago

Can someone point me in the right direction of a good perforated window film to use with my Latex 800W? I have tried Briteline and Sihl from Grimco and cannot get either to print without head strikes.

Hi @patrick13793,

It is important to know where the PHs are touching the media.

If this happens on the lateral of the media, add edge holders.

If you are experiencing carriage smears, perform the below step-by-step. If the first point does not fix the issue, proceed to the next one.

  • Attach the media to the TUR

  • Increase the vacuum

  • Decrease the curing temperature

  • Add interswath delay

  • Decrease the ink density

  • Increase passes.

If after applying all these suggestions the issue is not fixed, please contact your support representative.
