Printing Mesh on HP 360 - Overspray

#1 bjorn.b5176 4 years ago

Hello, We have started to print a mesh vinyl media and we need to print this material 2 sided and make it Black with a pattern. We do use the Removable mesh kit platen and have replaced the foam absorbent pads 2 times.

After we completed the job we noticed that there was over spray on the platen and in the air around the printing area and had issues on other jobs after the mesh jobs. Black ink was attaching to the white solid media after and causing scarp and rejects.

Are there filters for this press we can purchase or specific setting we should look into for 60/40 mesh vinyl. Change the Air Flow to zero and more heat for example? I had trouble finding a specific media to download in the media locator on the printer. Can you suggest any media that are similar?

Thank you.
