Resolution

#1 SPT777 a year ago

We have two Latex Printers, 800W & 800. According to the specifications both can print up to 1200dpi. However, & I apologise if I'm being slow I can't find a way to enable that facility. We print everything at 600dpi which is more than adequate for most of our requirements but it would good to have the higher resolution for more intricate tasking.

Hi @SPT777,

To print in 1200 dpi you must create a new print mode (18p6c100) in your selected media (Substrate library) - see image 1.

In Onyx: Go to "Configure printer". In the "Media" tab, Import from the printer the modified profile with the new print mode - see image 2.

Go to "MediaManager" - Configure Device - Print capabilities - Set 1200 dpi - see image 3.

At this point, you can select 1200dpi print mode at JobEditor - see image 4.
