Introducing the HP FlexiPRINT and CUT RIP

HP-Sonia 25th of October 2018

Manage your entire print-and-cut workflow from a single point

The HP FlexiPRINT and CUT RIP was developed through a collaboration between SAi, Summa and HP.

This RIP is included with the HP Latex 115/315/335 Print and Cut solutions, as well as with the HP Latex Cutting Solutions 1

This unique RIP allows users to manage their entire print print-and-cut workflow from a single program. The embedded editor enables the creation of new designs directly from the RIP. Users also have the option to import images designed with other software (such as HP Signage Suite and other graphic design tools). Once the design is ready, cut contours are easily added from the same editor. The RIP recognizes the shape of the images (bitmaps & vectors), so users can add cut contours automatically in few seconds.

Once the design and cut contours are ready, it’s time for job preparation. This RIP integrates the HP barcode function2, which means that barcodes and OPOS (Optical POsition System) marks are added automatically. Important: No additional software is needed in order to create the barcodes and OPOS marks. This RIP supports both print-and-cut and direct cut (direct-to-vinyl cutting) workflows.

With HP Latex Print and Cut Solutions you can deliver high quality jobs for a wide range of applications, not just for labels and stickers.

The HP FlexiPRINT and CUT RIP integrates with HP’s online media library PrintOS Media Locator. View and download the latest media and print modes directly to your printer, which auto-synchronize with the RIP to get you up and running with them quickly.
