Error 19.12:11 - Curing Control Board Error

HP Latex 500 Series

#1 --- 7 years ago

I'm working with a Latex 570. The printer has been in sleep mode, and when I go to wake the printer up it errors out with the following

19.12:11

File: /ae/STORM_00_05_01/calico/patum/TARGETS/wrl43-atom-opt/elektra/media/HeaterDevice/StormCuring/HeaterDeviceStormCuring.cpp

Line Number: 3380

Class: Electronics

Subclass: Curing Control Board

Description: Device Id 2: 2 .Error connecting with device

Error: PCA 2 Connection

Define: DRACO_EX_PETRIE_BOARD_CONNECTION_FAILURE2

Does anyone have any experience with this error reoccuring? If so, what was done to fix the issue?

#1 For anyone else having this problem, it's a bug with this machine and will result in a $1500+ bill to replace the petrie curing board, (You can do this yourself easily). There are 2 boards that can go bad. I believe it's the reason HP stopped producing this machine. The machine is a dud. You will end up replacing this board over and over.
