Frustrating Experience with HP Latex 700w Support – Error 21-2-1 Unresolved

#1 info52486 2 days ago

I’m reaching out to share my ongoing issues with HP Latex support for my HP Latex 700w, hoping for advice or insights from others. I purchased this machine brand new, and within a week, I encountered Error 21-2-1. Despite multiple attempts to resolve it, including replacing the drop detector at my own expense, the error persists. HP support initially promised coverage but has repeatedly closed my cases without fixing the issue. They’ve suggested I pay $1,800 to replace the same drop detector I already replaced, implying I’m incompetent despite my clear troubleshooting efforts. They keep sending me a PDF and PowerPoint with instructions I can’t follow because the error prevents me from accessing the necessary files. This machine has very low usage and isn’t run like a typical shop, yet I’m losing money outsourcing jobs due to this unresolved issue. Has anyone else dealt with this error or similar support challenges with HP? Any suggestions on how to escalate or resolve this? I’m incredibly frustrated with HP’s lack of accountability.

Hi @info52486, I have contacted our support team, and changing the cable should solve the issue. However, this can only be done by an authorized service agent. I have reached out to our team in the US and provided them with your case details to solve the issue.
