L28500 Error Message

Hi there, our L28500 has an error message appearing on the LCD screen - 14.63:11 Our local Reseller has advised that the error is related to a "Dryer Module" issue and that the replacement part will cos AUS $9000 Inc labour! Obviously we are not happy about this and therefore I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this problem and had a much cheaper fix solution??

#1 Worst case you would definitely need the new part and a technician to install. Other causes of this error are: Room temp is too high - check for surrounding heat sources. 'Minimum Drying power' setting in the RIP is too high it can trigger the error. Set minimum drying power to 0 and check if error remains. Check for any obstructions on any cooling fans. Check that all fans are functioning properly. The fans can be checked and replaced by a technician. This would cost a lot less than the entire new part.
