Hi Daniela,

after printing, the printer goes into standby. After about 30 minutes, the printer is automatically woken up and cleans itself. In the process, it also moves the loaded material. obviously more back than forward. After about 4x cleaning the material is behind the pinchrollers and I can not read the remaining length of material.

Hi @Mike-Berlin,

There is an option to put the length of the media while you are loading it ( in the load configuration screen). The amount of substrate that is subsequently used is tracked.

If you input the information then you can find it in the substrate source where the specifications of the media loaded are shown, Paper length, the printer will track the length material even when a test or cleaning.

If the problem is that the length is not shown anywhere, please elevate the issue to your support representative, as it coud be related to the FW.

I hope this helps.

Hello Daniela,

thank you very much for your help. The problem is only with the cleaning.

Example: During cleaning, the material is moved 1cm forward and 1.5cm back. If the material was visible 2cm before cleaning (at the pinchrollers), it is automatically unloaded after 5x cleaning and I don't see any length in the system anymore.
