what is the avarge life time for SMK 1,2,3 for HP LATEX 500 series and HP LATEX 1500 and is it more life than the SMK of HP LATEX 300 series?? Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi Karim_Hassan The average life time for SMK 1,2,3 for HP LATEX 500 series will be very similar to the Latex 300 series (in liters/cycles), although SMK 2 will cease. thanks very much..but do you mean by the SMK2 will cease that HP will icrease the life cycle for SMK 1,3 ???

Hi Karim, Basically certain parts of the printer must be checked from time to time in order to make sure they are working properly. With the new HP Latex 500 Printer the parts of the printer checked with the SMK 2 have been moved to the SMK 1 or 3 in order to simplify the process and avoiding the fact of repeating the process to often. hope this helps.
