Substrate Bow deformation

HP Latex 300 Series

#1 warrens6327 4 years ago

We have a HP Latex 335 printer and is giving us a 2.7mm deformation when printing on LG Hausys vinyl LD174G. I have entered the off set at -2,7mm in the subsrtate library, but when I cut it with my Mimaki cutter it still cuts incorrect. If I then put the opposite measurment in the RIP it then cuts correct sometimes?? Has anyone got any answers for us?

As you can see the straightness optimization is set but the result is what you see? Very confusing or is the printer software working correctly?

Hello! Please check if the media is available on the HP Media Solution Locator and download the profile if available. You can adjust the temperature of the media, lower the ink density and add insterswarth delay, as well as, preheating the printer before starting. Besides, you should also ensure the media is properly stored and the environmental specs are followed.

If the issue continues you should request the media profile from the material vendor and contact their support.
