Manual Alignement Question - Please can you assist?

HP Latex 300 Series

#1 Warwick209 7 years ago

Basically I’m trying to manually align the print head and I’m looking for a reference document to match the alignment pattern to the individual heads, I found a great document for the 3000 series - http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr\_na-c04174693&sp4ts.oid=5377995 - but can you get me the same information from HP for the 300 series?

Hi Warwick209,

Nowadays there is not such document for the HP Latex 300 Series. Although I always recommend to do the automatic printhead alignment, you can find some information about the manual in the page 127-128 from the user guide.

Let me know if this helps you.

#2 What about for the 500 series? We have a 570 and after doing an automatic alignment the black is way off on the back pass. What line should we adjust to fix that?

#1 User guide can be found here:

Before doing any alignments and adjustments I recommend checking the health of all printheads beforehand and change out any printheads with questionable health.

Also have suitable lighting to read the Manual Alignment and also a magnifying glass or Loupe is best to see the patterns. And be very patient. Also it won't work on all substrates.
