Printing a sheet problem

Hey guys I've got a question. New to HP360 latex. On past printers Ive used (Roland, Mimaki, etc) I have always been able to use my scrap media to print on (bonus $ i call it). I can't seem to figure out how to place a sheet in the printer and use it. The "guide" say nothing shorter than 42". If this is true, well, it's disappointing to say the least. I look at every job as if I'm doing it 100x's. Material usage/waste is big in my castle, so to toss 16 square feet of good, billable material is troubling. I think it's a little lazy to have not come up with a solution for that at the factory...... Hmmm... Oh, well.... My only guess is that it requires A LOT of space for setting ink with heat, but, to me, it just seems excessive. Let me know what you think.

Hi Dayboy, You're totally right, nowadays, although the HP Latex 360 Printer is designed to print on substrate rolls, it's possible to load cut sheets in the printer, but they must be 42 inches long in order to warranty that the output is properly printed and cured. I'll like to thank you for your feedback, I will send it to the engineers in order to take it into consideration.
