The connection to the media locator is fixed now and it should be working without issue. Remember that you may notice that the connectivity wizard is failing at step 13. This does not impact printer functionalities. If you are using a Latex 500 Series printer, upgrade to the latest firmware release to fix the connectivity wizard issue. The HP Latex 300 Series will receive the fix in the next release.

Hi @bauer7806,

The connection to the media locator is fixed now and should be working without issue. Please check if there is an issue with the internet connection. If it is still not working, I suggest contacting your support representative.

Having the same issue , for the last 2 months. Our 360 is failing to connect to the substrate server, firmware server, PrintOs system. Network card has been replaced early September. Attached is print screen from the 360 web server. The maintenance technicians do not know how to solve this issue. We really need some help on this one.

For a few months we have had a new model 335 printing and cutting equipment. From the first day we do not possible to connect it to the internet for the warranty activation and the use of the mobile management apps that HP offers to control the business remotely.

The error it indicates is step 13, you cannot connect to the internet, please configure a proxy. We have contacted the company that supplies the internet and the technician tells us that it is not an incidence of the line but of the equipment HP or its configuration. The equipment is updated with the latest version.

We would appreciate a solution since due to the restrictions produced by the viral pandemic, on many occasions we cannot travel to the workplace and in this way we can have control over the work that is being carried out.

#19 We have a Latex 365 and just downloaded the latest firmware NEXUS_06_03_23.1 that is supposed to address this issue and it is still showing Internet Connectivity failure on step 13. Please advise.

I have 335 Latex Machine can't see any firmware update message pending on the printer panel. Can't see an Internet connection test No. 13 go through (failure). Can't download any media profile other than HP ..any idea what to do?

Hi,

I have the same problem my latex 360 can't connect to internet. I tried direct connection and also though a proxy with my synology NAS. Same problem I have the last firmware how to solve it please ?

I have found the solution to that problem. activate the firewall in printer setting and then it works ! I think it's a bug. that workaround works

I have an HP 360 and having the same issue. I can't update the Firmware. When I do diagnostics & troubleshooting test it fails at step 13. My printer is connected to the internet with a LAD cable. Also I have an error code of 79:04 that just started showing today. It happens when I send something to the printer, it starts up to print & then the error code comes up & cancels the print job. I did some research online & it says that one cause of this error is because the Firmware isn't up to date.

This has happened to me too! thanks goodness I'm not the only one who is going crazy over this, of course in hopes that HP will get this sorted ASAP!! Why would anyone want to buy another HP if this is how they are going to treat there customers. I have been wasting expensive material because this issue. Meaning I'm loosing money!!! #31
